Between 27th February and 1st March, our Year 9 pupils enjoyed a fantastic residential visit to Glan Llyn in North Wales. The aim of the trip was simple: to give pupils the opportunity to practise a little Cymraeg while taking part in exciting outdoor activities and having plenty of fun together. After qualifying through the preliminary stage, two talented teams from Bassaleg School  attended the final of the ACE Cyber Security Competition  at USW on Friday 27th February . The event brought together over 50 young people  from across Wales and England, all tackling advanced Capture‑the‑Flag challenges provided by Bridewell and NCC Group.
