Between December 2021 and September 2023 Bassaleg will be working with Willmott Dixon to build a fantastic new teaching block on our school grounds.

 

The block is intended to be a three-storey block and will give a fantastic opportunity for our curriculum teams to work together as Areas of Learning to really build cross curricular links.

As we have been designing the build, we have been incredibly mindful of the opportunity it will give us to bring the whole school community together, with one central hall and a central canteen being right at the heart of the development.

​

The project begins with the redevelopment of our outdoor sports facilities and over the course of the two years that Willmott Dixon is on site we will have fantastic opportunities to work with them to offer enrich our curriculum work in collaboration to ensure our learners benefit from the process of the development as well as the final package.
