The first Health and Happiness day in the Sixth Form Hwb was a success. Many Bassaleg pupils joined in on the fun, participating in our scavenger hunt with the promise of a sweet prize whilst making the most of our wonderful face-painting stall.
The cake stall once again went down a treat with our loyal customers, selling all bar five lollipops! Not only that but the 31st of January marked the opening of Eco council’s new ‘Vinted Stall’. Going forward it will be aimed at raising money for the Caredig Quads’ renovation, however, this time Eco contributed the £17.40 raised to our Tŷ Hafan H&H charity. Overall, the efforts of our marvelous prefects and generous donations from Bassaleg pupils helped raise £794.00 for Tŷ Hafan Children’s Hospital, an outstanding contribution.
Bassaleg’s next H&H day takes place on Thursday 20th of February and will be collecting donations for Little Heart Matters. It would be greatly appreciated if some of our thoughtful students could assist in our fundraising efforts. Be it donating spare school and leisure equipment to Eco’s ‘Vinted stall’ or simply taking a look at the fantastic activities we have to offer, it all makes a difference.
See you next Health & Happiness day!
